2024 WISCCAP Annual Meeting

You’re invited to the WISCCAP Annual Spring Meeting on April 5th & 6th at the Milwaukee Marriott West Hotel.  This gathering isn’t just an annual meeting; it’s a chance to reconnect with fellow Wisconsin child and adolescent psychiatrists.  Join us for a day filled with learning and meaningful discussions on vital topics in our field.

Saturday Educational meeting:

  • Earn 4.0 CME   (provided by Prevea Health through Prairie Education)

“This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Prairie/HSHS and Prairie Education and Research Cooperative and Wisconsin Council of Child And Adolescent Psychiatry . Prairie/HSHS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  

Prairie/HSHS designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category I Credits ™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.”

Keynote Speaker: We are honored to have Lois Lee, MD MPH from Boston Children’s Hospital.  She is a pediatric emergency medicine physician who is highly involved in education and policy development.  Dr. Lee has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine for 2023, for her foundational research on firearm injuries and leadership on authoring the American Academy of Pediatrics 2022 Technical Report/Policy Statement on pediatric firearm injury prevention.

  • 10:30 am – 12:00 pm: Part 2 – Health Disparities in Pediatric Mental Health Outcomes
  • 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm: Questions and Discussion Session
  • 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch
  • 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm: WISCCAP Annual Business Meeting
