This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Prairie/HSHS and Wisconsin Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. We are honored to have Tami Benton, MD, the 36th President of AACAP and Psychiatrist-in-Chief and Executive Director of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), as our Keynote speaker. Her career resonates with her mission of nurturing diverse physician leaders and the next generation of experts in pediatric and mental health care. This has laid the foundation for partnerships between communities and academic centers – essential in eliminating disparities in the field. Dr. Benton’s presidential initiative is entitled  “Bringing the Village to the Children”, which encourages Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to transcend traditional clinical roles and become public health advocates and identify partnerships across a variety of disciplines to improve child mental health.
